. I am very product picky and you will never hear me write about something just to write about it.
1. Carita makes a product called Fluide de beaute lissant - also known as Glowing Wrinkle Smoother. I am not at the age where I have a lot of lines yet, but I am starting to see some fine lines that I would like to keep FINE. The woman that told me about this owned a spa (in her early 50's) and told me that she can literally wipe off her make-up mid-day and put this on and then reapply her make-up and it looks as if she's had a facial and her skin is renewed and glowy. I was a bit hesitant because she was the owner of the spa, but I took it home and gave it a shot. ! The way you use it is after you wash your face...
in the morning, you put this on, then wait a couple of minutes and apply your regular moisturizer as usual. It smooths out your skin and gives you a fresh glow that lasts all day. This is not recommended for oily skin and best for mature skin.
2. Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream: I have read about this product a few times and had to check it out. It's clinically proven to reduce lines and wrinkles and prevent further lines from forming. Do we have long term proven clinical results? Probably not...but I really needed a good moisturizer that wasn't too heavy and this is it. Although pretty expensive, the texture is great and it doesn't leave your skin too greasy. It almost knows exactly where it should be moisturizing and where it should stay away - a little mind of its own.
3. The last product I picked up this week are little cotton sticks from RMK. Love this product! One end has make-up remover on it and the other is dry. This is great for correcting under eye make-up or removing your eye make-up if you're out and about (they're all individually wrapped so it's easy to pop in your purse). Use the dry end for blending, correction or picking up those annoying dots of mascara that go on your lid after you apply mascara (only roll the stick over the mascara dot - don't rub!) Also, if you are puzzled like I was on how to open them, you twist the center and pull!
