The only negatives to this juicer in my opinion is....
- There is no spout so the juice comes through a wide screen and you have to put something under there (I use a small measuring cup) to catch the juice. The juicer itself is too low to put a glass under it so you then have to transfer the juice to your drinking glass.
- The other negative is the weight because you really won't put it away every time you use it or you won't ever use it again. It does take up a lot of counter space but if you use it every day and have the space, totally worth it.
- You also can't put whole pieces of fruit in there, like a whole apple, you do have to cut it down in to fours.
My Favorite Juice:
Anything with apple. Love Apple, Watermelon, Lemon, Strawberry, cucumber, carrot for detox. When I have a tummy ache, I use a little apple, ginger and mint - I throw it all in the juicer and it really calms my stomach and it tastes great warm too! Adding a little sweet potato to tart juice sweetens it up a bit and it's good for you (I know it sounds gross but it's really good, believe me!! I'm a picky eater). This summer I cut up a lot of fruit and berries, froze them and then I let them soften slightly, put in the blank screen and in 5 minutes you have sorbet (make sure all fruit is skinned when doing this except berries of course).
Your stomach takes some time to get adjusted to the daily fruit, but then it settles and I promise you will feel amazing!
