what is a nice spa to check out in budapest that is affordable?
I will be in Budapest for TWO days and am on limited funds. I really wanted to check out their famous spas but there is sooo much info. it is overwhelming. Which is the best one at the most affordable price? If it helps, I am planning on staying at the RedBus II Hostel around early September.
Answer: The one at Gellert Hotel is great. It is one of the most famous spas there. I don't remember what train stop it is, but it's easy to figure out. Not the absolute cheapest, but my friend and I got to use all the baths, had full body massages and got our nails and eyebrows done for $40 each. We spent about 4 hours there. So much fun!
If you feel like it when your done, exit the hotel and turn right, head up the hill on that street. About 2 blocks on the right side you will find a Cowboy themed bar restaurant with cheap good American food and a range of weird Eastern European liquors. We found it by accident and had a blast!
Have fun on your trip :)
