Erection during a massage treatment?
So I read this at menessentials.com and had to laugh:
• You may get an erection during your treatment — even if your therapist is male. Understand that this is a normal response to being touched, and has absolutely nothing to do with sex. Experienced therapists are trained to handle such situations with dignity and compassion. There's no cause for embarrassment.
Has this actually happened to any of you guys? You have got to be kidding me!!!
Guys, tell me what you or the therapists did in this instance. I would imagine it to be a bit awkward, right? Therapists, how do you simply ignore the erection in the room? What comments have you made in this instance?
Answer: i am actually a licensed massage therapist in the state of ct and this does happen often, with our male providers. it has nothing to do with anything sexual. it's like when you wake up in the morning with an erection. you are extremely relaxed and the bodies response is to get an erection. the same theory applies when getting a massage. the body relaxes and thus comes the erection. it truly is nothing to be alarmed about and it doesn't bother the male therapist a bit. when you have a working knowledge of the human anatomy in both males and females, anything sexual is thrown out the window
